This animation conveys a slowly spinning and floating crystal surrounded by two rings of spheres orbiting it. The two rings spin around the crystal at opposite directions of each other. I made this crystal model and the orbs through an open-source 3D modeling software called Blender. There are two versions, one of a video with sounds to match the atmosphere of the crystal, and a transparent gif version to make it web-friendly. There are 90 frames. The speed of the gif is increased by 20% in order to maintain a nice fluid motion. The video version also features a subtle purple glow on the crystals.
